Samsung Galaxy S9: is ready

While the S8 was formalized in late March 2017, the Galaxy S9 could arrive a little earlier. The presentation of Samsung's new flagship smartphone could take place before MWC 2018.

The first data about the Galaxy S9 come gradually. A few weeks later, Samsung introduced its new flagship. It would arrive before the Mobile World Congress, which will take place from March 26 to March 1, 2018. Some sources even hint at an official presentation during the major electronics show at CES in Las Vegas, January 9-12. Tempo is an important element in the presentation of a product. This time, the choice seems to be dictated by Apple's iPhone X printing, which has been the focus of media attention for weeks.

Face detection finally and a S9 Mini?

Another rumor that Samsung has finally abandoned the development of a fingerprint reader under the AMOLED panel. The South Korean manufacturer prefers a facial recognition system similar to the "face ID" of the iPhone X. It seems that the technology needed for mass production of the fingerprint sensor is not yet developed. Once again Apple has paved the way, Samsung just has to hurry.

Last indiscretion, to close the crowd of rumors, would be a compact version of the S9, logically called the S9 Mini, also in the boxes of the Korean manufacturer. It would accompany the launch of the S9 and S9 + points to the iPhone SE. The segment "small format" and powerful smartphones, rather neglected by manufacturers, this proposal might well know its audience.
